Following the sophisticated DDoS attacks targeting our subreg/regtons service on Friday, December the 5th, for 12 hours (from 11.15 until 22.00), Gransy team has implemented significant infrastructure changes to ensure long-term stability.
✔️ What was done:
Enhanced DDoS Protection: During the night, we successfully mitigated couple of huge waves of DDoS attacks directed to our core services (subreg.cz, regtons.com) and built up enhanced DDoS protection in our entire infrastructure. With robust filtering against attacks, our infrastructure is now stable, safe and secured from DDoS attacks.
✔️Registry Connections:
Connectivity to 98% of domain registries has been restored. Our team is currently finalizing configuration for a small subset of specific registries that require manual IP whitelisting.
✔️Important Note for API Users:
With the new security layer in place, traffic filtering is stricter. If you experience issues with API calls, please check if your request frequency is not triggering our new protection limits.
We are in process of adaptation our access rules for all clients, and if you feel some unusual behavior, it's going to solved in future days.
